Changes Coming to Timeslips

Sage Software is planning to offer Timeslips via subscription only by the fall of 2020.  Currently, we still have the option to purchase the perpetual product, which is Timeslips 2020, or the subscription version, which is Timeslips Premium.  After September 30, 2020, the perpetual product will no longer be available for sale. 

If you want to upgrade your Timeslips software after September 30, 2020, you will be moving to Timeslips Premium.

If you want to upgrade your Timeslips software before September 30, 2020, you can still decide between Timeslips 2020 and Timeslips Premium.  Here are some things to consider when making your decision.

• Effective October 1, 2019, there will be no new features, enhancements or upgrades delivered for Timeslips 2020.  After this date, support from Sage Software will only be provided if you have purchased their Sage Business Care Plan. 

• September 30, 2020 will be the last day of support for Sage Business Care.  After this time, customers will have the option to select Sage Timeslips Premium, an auto-renewing subscription, which includes support, on-going new features and enhancements, technological changes, security updates and more.

• When using Timeslips Premium, if you were to stop paying the subscription fee, your Timeslips database would become “read-only”, meaning you would not be able to add or change anything in Timeslips.  You would be able to run reports, but they would include a watermark in the background.
